Den Pick fand ich schwierig zum Einstieg, für mich die Wahl zwischen einer der beiden schwarzen Karten, dem Mastiff, evtl. Formation oder Warchief sowie dem Bounce, der es dann geworden ist. Im Endeffekt nehme ich das Hubris ohne wirkliche Überzeugung, hauptsächlich weil ich einfach gerne blau spiele.

Den Booster habe ich als Signal erhofft, das schwarz offen ist. Bounce kann ich später noch bekommen, daher nehme ich hier nicht das zweite Hubris. Im Nachhinein hätte ich hier lieber den Bloodcrazed Hoplite genommen.

Da ich nicht weiss, wie schwarz ich werde, über die Leeches. Nyx Infusion fand ich bisher nicht so beeindruckend, weil oftmals einfach die falschen Targets auf dem Tisch liegen. Auch wenn Andreas Pischner den Starfish nicht mag "wenn das Spiel nicht wirklich sehr lange dauert, ist dies hier nur ein ganz, ganz schlechter Omenspeaker. Meine Erfahrungen mit Darksteel Pendant sagen mir, dass man auf den Starfish eher verzichten sollte, besonders da er auch kein allzu stabiler Blocker ist. Unspielbar ist er aber nicht."
